On August 2^nd, Ecumen vice president of business development Steve Ordahl was celebrating his wedding anniversary at Bluefin Bay on the North Shore. While there he went into Sawbill Outfitters in Tofte. The visit to Sawbill triggered memories for Steve of a good friend, who often visited Sawbill, but whom Steve hadn’t seen in years. That friend was Jorge Llambes, a colonel and physician serving in the United States Air Force Reserve in Kuwait. Just hours later Steve received an e-mail out of the blue from Jorge. Jorge had read about Ecumen in the online version of the Star Tribune. He saw Steve’s name and knew he was the same Steve Ordahl that was his friend from more than a decade ago. From Kuwait to the U.S.A., Ecumen makes another connection.
